$325 (total cost including instruction and materials)
Description:
Two days and as many dovetails as we can muster. We’ll cover how to layout, cut and fit this common woodworking joint – and how to fix any issues that crop up along the way. Over this weekend, we’ll primarily focus on through and half-blind dovetails (the most common dovetails found in case construction). And I’m sure we’ll find the time to argue whether cutting pins or tails first is the correct way to approach things. Should be a fun weekend.
Please bring your chisels, saw, bevel gauge, cutting gauge, marking knife and combination square (we have spares of all of these – so no worries if your kit is missing something).
A fully catered lunch is included and served every day and drinks and snacks are provided all day. Please let us know in advance of any special dietary needs. It is a good idea to make your lodging reservations well in advance.
